I don’t have a desire to see Monster Trucks, the movie created by a 4-year-old:
The idea for the film… …was developed by one-time studio president Adam Goodman with the help of his then-4-year-old son, who is now the undisputed world champion of economic collapse, preschool division. The studio was seeking properties that could sell toys and become franchises…
That being said:
Out of curiosity, when I went on Rotten Tomatoes to read reviews for it, I discovered something…
Jane Levy co-stars in it.
You know what else she’s been in?
Evil Dead (2013).
And Don’t Breath (2016).
(I haven’t seen Don’t Breath yet, but Evil Dead is one of my favorite movies.)
My point is:
I’m glad that Jane Levy’s most recent project is so different from her last two.
Because: I imagine it’s a nice change of pace for her.
For example: In a kids movie, Jane doesn’t have to worry about being buried alive.
The lesson that I take away from Monster Trucks is: There’s always a silver lining.
I’m glad that Jane Levy continues to be able to do what she’s good at — acting — and I hope that, whatever her next project is, her involvement in it will make her happy.
