Trangender: Relating to, or being a person who identifies with or expresses a gender identity that differs from the one which corresponds to the person’s sex at birth.
Womanhood: The state or condition of being a woman.
Whenever I think of transgenderism, the first thing that comes to mind are Tony Stark’s words to Steve Rogers in The Avengers (2012):
“Everything special about you came out of a bottle.”
Why do I think of that quote?
In the case of Caitlyn Jenner, what makes Caitlyn Caitlyn came out of a bottle. Caitlyn wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for science.
I find it insulting that all a man has to do be considered a woman is to undergo chemical injections and surgery.
I would like to think that there is more to womanhood than that.
How can a woman say “I more than my body” since, if transgenderism is anything to go by, a woman is actually less than her body?
If transgenderism is anything to go by, a woman is ultimately nothing more than certain chemicals that exist within her body, since the injection of certain chemicals are what it takes for a man to be a woman.
