…the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ (Matthew 25:40)
‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ (Mark 12:31)
Excerpts from They Aren’t Refugees; They’re Invaders! and my thoughts:
…who told these people that they could just pack up…
The violence in their country is what told them:
…who told these people that they could just pack up and invade Europe, including Scandinavian countries in the far north, much less countries like the United States of America? (Emphasis mine.)
Why are you singling out America like it’s some special snowflake and, thus, too good to be troubled by the rest of the world?
…many of these “refugees” look like rowdy young men pictured in the [below] photo from Reuters, not victims.
Syrian refugees also look like this:
Are all of these immigrants terrorists?
…these immigrants…are…unwelcome invaders who are the point of the spear for Islamofascist and socialist conquest. (Emphasis mine.)
Or are only some of these immigrants terrorists?
…if some of these invaders are actually radical Muslim terrorists and/or supporters of socialist tyranny… (Emphasis mine.)
Tom Snyder: Your logic is schizophrenic.*
You’re calling people who are running for their lives “invaders”?
Tell me something: Is this kid an “invader”?
These people are “unwelcome”?
That’s weird, because on the Statue of Liberty in America, that country you love so much…
…there are these words:
These terrorists want Islamofascism and socialism?
…Islamofascist and socialist conquest. …some of these invaders are… radical Muslim terrorists and… supporters of socialist tyranny…
One of those things is not the same as the other. I don’t think the people killing themselves in the name of their religion are doing so to bring about socialism.
Should terrorists be stopped? Yea. But, in our quest to stop terrorism, let’s not neglect the innocent people who need help. Lumping the innocent in with the guilty is not what Jesus would do:
“His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” (Matthew 3:12)
Reading Tom Snyder’s thoughts on the Syrian refugee crisis, I was reminded of this YouTube video:
*Schizophrenic: Inconsistent or contradictory.
