Note: This post deals with subjects that people could find triggering.
Women are fascinating.
This post is about celebrating women.
A woman is a man’s companion who was created by God, and who is a creator, too.
God said “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” (Genesis 2:18)
So God made woman.
“This one is bone from my bone, and flesh from my flesh!” (Genesis 2:23)
It was God’s plan that men and women would rule over all He had created, together.
“Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” (Genesis 1:28)
Cortana, John’s A.I. companion in the video game series Halo, reminds me that men don’t rule over women, women don’t rule over men: men and women are supposed to rule together.
A woman, like a man, is created in the image and likeness of God. (Genesis 1:27)
Creation is not as it should be, though.
“Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.” (Genesis 3:7)
God has a plan to make things right again.
And women are a part of that plan…
…no matter what.
No matter if, for example, a woman is a witch:
Or three inches tall:
This piece of art of a female God…
…reminds me of the unique role that women play in the creation…
Thank you for being a woman.
Here is where the art of the female God comes from.
