When Rick Santorum became CEO of EchoLight Studios last summer, he said that he wanted EchoLight to be the “…Pixar of [faith-based films].”* Of the two studios, Pixar is the more successful and well known.
In a way EchoLight is the “…Pixar of [faith-based films]” though. Pixar is a studio that people can depend on — when you are watching a Pixar film, you know it is high quality and has good morals. I haven’t seen any films made by EchoLight, but if the positive reviews from people of faith as well as the plot summaries of their films is anything to go by, than people can expect EchoLight films to have good morals. Whether or not the films are high quality will be determined by the viewer.
