Messages In Movies

One problem Christian movies have is that a lot of them are preachy. I go to a movie to see a story, not to hear a sermon. Every movie has a message — the message matters, but how that message is communicated matters too. For example, a movie like The Book of Eli (2010) is pro-faith, but the message is presented in such a way that, while watching it, not once did I feel like I was being preached at. Moviegoers want a good story; the message comes later.
